Since Wassink does not have time to follow up on every report of mould, Dolmans' employees pick it up for him. "I'm no longer in between. Dolmans handles it directly with the tenant. Sometimes they engage in conversation and give advice, or just do a recording. If there has been a long-term leak, they make sure the place is dried before treating the mould. This is also done very professionally. Dressed in protective suits, they spray pesticide into the pores of the surface. Then the spot is post-treated and insulated so that the fungus cannot come back. Finally, they sauce the entire surface so that it is a beautiful whole again."

Wassink has never received a complaint from a tenant about Dolmans: "This means the problem has been solved and the tenant is satisfied," he concludes. "The mould won't come back, and that's exactly what we want."
